“It’s failure that gives you the proper perspective on success.” – Ellen DeGeneres
Winners are rarely defined by the moments where everything goes right. It is often the losses, the heartbreaking setbacks, and disappointments that provide the necessary perspective.
Winners learn to understand and embrace failure as a learning tool, a necessary pit stop on the road to success by their own definition.
Losers view failure as a crushing blow that they are unable to rise from.
If you are to succeed, you must learn to deal with failure.
Below are 3 brief tips for addressing the failure that you will encounter.
*Separate your personal opinion from the failure. In other words, your effort failed, not you as a person.
*Envision how you want things to go the next time.
*Get the failure out of your system and immediately plan for the next comeback.
What are your strategies for overcoming failure? I’d love to learn more about them. Leave your comments and let’s get the discussion going.
